Primary Responsibilities
On-site lead for system operation and technical issues
Perform initial triage, analysis, and reporting of observed issues
Technical planning and oversight of day-to-day integration activities
Provide structured integration plans for team members to execute
Communicate issues with other stakeholders via documented issues (e.g. IR-SYS), meetings, etc.
Coordinate SW build installation/updates and regression testing
Hands on HW some sites; SW focus at others who have well rounded knowledge of system and subsystems
Test procedure review (revision if needed)
Secondary Responsibilities
Participate in maintenance of systems (support maintainers)
Mentor junior engineers in system/radar concepts
Coordinate with external partners on HW investigations/resolution
Key Skills/Attributes
Hardware - familiar with system hardware, firmware (FW)
Troubleshooting - use of tools (e.g. Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.) and SW/FW tools to instrument, measure, and investigate issues
MATLAB - intermediate/expert - use existing scripts and/or modify/create new scripts
Communication - brief leads/team members on issues observed
Integrator has responsibility that if someone asks them to do something, they align to process and procedures, but also generating the result that has been requested.
Experience Level
4-year degree, prefer mechanical or RF background
Prior site and/or radar integration/operation experience (3-4 yrs. Min),
Graduated position from an operator role or extensive exp at one of the radar operation sites
spent time in factory setting
Knowledge of major sub-systems, int/ext interfaces, how it operates
