Luminize Marketing is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to contribute their efforts to our core business offering; empowering Amazon sellers with effective marketing and advertising strategies. This role is pivotal in advancing our technology capabilities and driving efficiency through innovative software solutions, and will be the primary driver in developing and managing core software applications for internal and external use cases.
Responsibilities Include:
Leads and oversees the development of software applications for both internal operations and external client-facing tools.
Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scopes, and establish timelines for software projects.
Manages and mentors offshore development teams to ensure high-quality deliverables within established timelines.
Designs, develops, tests, deploys, maintains, and improves software solutions that streamline processes and enhance user experiences.
Evaluates and implements best practices for software development, including coding standards, code reviews, version control, and deployment processes.
Drives technical innovation and excellence by staying abreast of emerging technologies and trends in software development.
Proactively identifies and addresses technical challenges, performance bottlenecks, and scalability issues.
Contributes to architectural decisions and provides technical guidance to ensure optimal system design and implementation.
Collaborates with stakeholders and clients to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years' in software development, with a focus on managing complex projects and distributed teams.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, or JavaScript; experience with frameworks like React, Node.js, or Django is a plus.
Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system integration.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies.
Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience working in Agile development environments (Scrum, Kanban) and using related tools (JIRA, Confluence).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
