Location: Lithia Springs, GA
The job will require up to a maximum of 30-40% travel.
Duties:
Working with multiple cross-functional engineers to bring a solution from concept to reality.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate conveyor control solutions, automated material handling equipment, and autonomous vehicles.
Create and maintain electrical schematic drawings.
Develop and debug control system software in ladder logic, ST.
Ability to provide technical expertise in controls and electrical engineering.
Perform on-site commissioning support & necessary electrical field wiring when required.
The job will require up to a maximum of 30-40% travel.
Skills:
Bachelors or Masters in Controls Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering or 3+ years of experience in control systems engineering, PLC programming
Familiarity with the following programming languages: Ladder Logic, Structured Text
PLC Programming on Rockwell Platforms Studio 5000/ RSLogix5000 is a must.
Experience in Programming Material Handling systems like conveyors, sorters, and MDRs is preferred.
Experience with Schematics Design in AutoCAD.
Ability to Assist during equipment commissioning with wiring, and installation occasionally.
Familiarity with commissioning VFDs, PLCs, Remote, and Barcode Scanners and establishing communications via Ethernet IP, Device Net, and Profibus communication protocols.
