Role Description
This is a contract role for a PHP Developer at Piedmont Insurance Associates. The PHP Developer will be responsible for back-end web development, object-oriented programming (OOP), front-end development, software development, and programming tasks. This is a hybrid role, with the developer working primarily from home but willing and able to work in office or join in-person mtgs on a semi-regular basis. The hours are flexible and Part Time for now, but could develop into a FT role as customization and innovation is a key part of our growth strategy.
Qualifications
Strong experience in back-end web development and object-oriented programming (OOP)
Proficiency in front-end development and software development
Excellent programming skills
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
Familiarity with PHP frameworks and databases (mySQL)
Experience developing and debugging WordPress themes and Plugins
