Monitor the quality of ready-mix concrete production from production plant to jobsite.
Ability to perform air content, slump, unit weight testing and casting of cylinders.
Ability to perform general mathematic equations.
General computer literacy by today's standards
Ability to lift 50lbs, bend, kneel, stand, and otherwise move unencumbered.
Ability to use a wheelbarrow.
Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and varying jobsite terrain.
Ability to spend 90% of the workday outside in all weather conditions.
Prepare daily field reports and test summaries documenting work.
Follow daily scheduled assignments and variable start times - Must be available for early am start times, overnight work, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Communicate regularly with batching and dispatching personnel, sales representatives, drivers, contractors, and customers.
Work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
Applicants must possess a clean driving record.
Desired Experience
2+ years of experience with testing ready mix concrete
A.C.I Field Technician Grade 1 - a plus, but not required.
