We are seeking to hire a QC Specialist. This is a full-time, on-site position.
The QC Specialist will inspect electronic components, work-in-process (WIP) assemblies, and finished devices through visual, dimensional and instrumentation using established quality standards. This role requires use of micrometers, calipers, gages, multimeters, electronic test equipment and other measurement tools to perform an inspection. The ideal candidate must have excellent attention to detail and be comfortable making decisions to accept or reject the product and communicate results to production personnel and management. Quality Specialists work on the manufacturing floor performing inspections; train operators to recognize acceptable and unacceptable products; and enforce compliance to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Responsibilities:
Perform incoming, WIP, and finished device inspections and tests by visual, dimensional, and electronic test equipment to assure products meet specification
Conduct first article and line clearance inspections
Review incoming and production records for accuracy and completeness and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
Make product quality accept/reject determinations based on established specifications and quality standards and initiate nonconformance reports for nonconforming product
Release of raw materials, in process, and finished product.
Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and conduct defect awareness and other quality related training to production personnel.
Qualifications
HS diploma minimum, associate degree in electronics strongly preferred
Prior experience in electronics inspection and testing in a production environment
Prior experience in an FDA regulated industry strongly preferred
Working experience with MS Word and Excel
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
