As an Quality Assurance Analyst, you'll be deeply involved in all facets of vendor management, overseeing every step of the business relationship. Your responsibilities include conducting pre-screening or qualification procedures, negotiating favorable terms and prices, facilitating onboarding and account setup, liaising with account representatives, managing contracts and invoices, and resolving any conflicts to maintain a positive rapport. Additionally, you'll contribute to developing and implementing high-level vendor management strategies and policies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, implement, and uphold quality assurance protocols.
Enhance organizational processes and procedures to bolster internal capacity.
Actively pursue strategic and operational objectives.
Support Strategic Improvements by soliciting feedback from various departments and vendors to refine strategies for maximizing vendor value. This may involve renegotiating terms, introducing new performance metrics, or changing vendors as needed, ensuring dynamic and continually improving relationships.
Drive continuous improvements and efficiencies based on data.
Maintain detailed daily logs of vendor activities.
Regularly audit to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
Ensure operational activities adhere to schedules and budgets.
Perform other duties as assigned.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in science, business, or related field.
Minimum 3 years' experience in Vendor Management, particularly in the food industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel.
Strong attention to detail.
Effective leadership and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in guiding and managing negotiations.
