LT Foods Americas (LTFA) is part of LT Foods Limited, an emerging global food company, with Net Sales in excess of $800 million globally, operating across a range of categories including specialty rice, organic foods and convenience rice based products. The Company is engaged in milling, processing and marketing of branded and non-branded basmati rice, and manufacturing of rice food products in India & international market. LT Foods has a global presence including India, Middle East, United Kingdom, Europe and United States. Its operations include contract farming, procurement, storage, processing, packaging and distribution. Its rice product portfolio comprises brown, white, steamed, parboiled, organic, quick cooking brown rice, and ready-to-heat rice. The Company's brands include DAAWAT®, ROYAL®; 817 ELEPHANT®, INDUS VALLEY®, ECOLIFE® & GRAPEOLA®.

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Engineer to oversee manage all Capex projects of our RTH and Dry rice packaging plant. As an integral part of our team, he/she will be responsible for determining project specifications, schedules, and budgets, monitoring progress, resolving issues, handling various external contractors and machine manufacturer and ensuring compliance with codes and regulations. Strong technical, communication, and project management skills are essential for this role.

The role will be reporting to Director of Manufacturing and Engineering and will be based out of Missouri City, Texas.

Key Responsibilities

Project planning:
  • Plan and execute all Capex projects, from concept development to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
  • Defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and supporting business objectives. Collaborating with stakeholders on requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams, including production, quality assurance, safety, procurement and R&D to achieve the project goal

Technical Expertise:
  • Ensuring engineering designs, specifications, and implementations meet required standards and quality.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining technical documentation and reports.
  • Involve in Techno commercial discussion with vendor

Coordination
  • Liaising with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Acting as the bridge between project management and technical teams, coordinating efforts across disciplines presenting technical information in a clear and understandable manner
  • Conduct FAT and SAT of new equipment and Implement testing, inspections, and quality assurance practices to meet specifications.
  • Provide proper training schedule for the plant engineering team and ensure effective handover
  • Coordinate project closure activities, including final deliverables, documentation, and stakeholder acceptance. Conduct post-project evaluations, gather lessons learned, and document best practices for future project

Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification will be preferred
  • 5 years of project management experience, strong project skills with a successful track record of leading complex engineering projects
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
