Conduct periodic reviews of projects for claims with project managers.
Review claim correspondence, incoming and outgoing, and assist in response preparation.
Review changes to plans and change orders for potential claims.
Review CPM to ensure alignment with claims.
Compile all pertinent information regarding claims.
Coordinates claim documentation review such that all submission deadlines and milestones are met in a timely manner.
Prepares complete claim submittal for filing.
Monitors the progress of claims and provides status updates to management.
Stays on point with all claims until final resolution.
Skills/Qualifications: • 10-15 years of experience with heavy highway and road construction, or similar, projects with public agencies • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or another related field • Strong analytical and organizational skills with a commitment to high standards • Strong work ethic and team player • Proficient with all MS Office software, experience with HeavyJob and HeavyBid a plus
