Design and develop detailed civil construction plans for various land development (commercial/residential/municipal) projects from the beginning stage of project(s), through final construction plans and record drawings.
Assist with permitting.
Research feasibility of alternative design approaches, site conditions, and regulatory agency specifications.
Work under the direct supervision of a P.E.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering.
E.I. or the ability to obtain within 90 days (Professional Engineering (P.E.) License or ability to obtain within one year is preferred).
1 to 4+ years of relevant land development engineering and permitting experience.
Experience with site, grading, utilities, storm water management design from the conceptual stage through final design.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred)
Design experience that includes site, utilities, grading, and stormwater layout/design
Understanding of codes and regulations and permitting requirements as related to preparation of construction documents.
Possess a valid Florida Driver's License.
