Job Description:
As a Senior Microsoft Technologies Engineer, you'll spearhead the management of our clients' technological landscape, serving as a pivotal figure in mentoring, guiding, and supporting associate and mid-level team members. Your responsibilities will encompass project management, from conducting comprehensive IT assessments to crafting recommendations and proposals. With a strong emphasis on nurturing client relationships, this role demands a client-facing technical prowess to ensure service delivery excellence and foster the professional growth of our consultants.
Responsibilities:
Provide clients with unparalleled technical expertise spanning networking, mobility, virtualization, security, and cloud-based solutions.
Evaluate, recommend, and implement cutting-edge technologies to enhance client infrastructure.
Optimize existing systems to maintain peak network performance, bolster security, and ensure maximum availability.
Develop forward-thinking IT strategies aligned with evolving business needs and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrate proficiency in on-premises, hybrid, and cloud architectures, leveraging best practices to ensure operational resiliency.
Exhibit adaptability to diverse environments, coupled with meticulous follow-up and detailed documentation skills.
Collaborate on proposal content, conduct product research, and contribute to sales meetings with prospective clients.
Uphold fundamental principles of IT governance to ensure regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Strong preference for certifications such as Microsoft expert certification in Cloud technology, CISSP, CCSP, and related industry certifications.
Minimum of 5+ years' hands-on experience maintaining and supporting diverse technology environments.
Prior consulting experience highly desirable, showcasing proficiency in client-facing roles.
Comprehensive understanding of operating platforms, connectivity, security, and information management.
Proficient in advanced troubleshooting theory and practice, with a knack for problem-solving.
Deep expertise in Microsoft SaaS cloud stack, including Microsoft 365, EMS, and Azure Active Directory.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS services, encompassing virtual machines, storage, networking, databases, and security.
Familiarity with on-premises technologies like Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, with Systems Center knowledge considered a plus.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and client management acumen.
A collaborative team player with a strong focus on Microsoft back-office platforms.
Hands-on experience in networking, firewalls, routing, and switching, alongside proficiency in virtualization technologies such as VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft.
Proven track record of outstanding communication, project management, and organizational skills across all organizational levels.
