Pottstown Hospital is seeking a full time Hematologist/Oncologist to join our team of physicians and nurse practitioners to provide quality, patient centered care in our Pottstown location.
Highlights:
Provide in-patient and out-patient Hematology/Oncology consultation services
Participate as an active member of the Tumor Board and Cancer Committee
Be a resource to Primary Care providers to manage care of patients referred to Hematology/Oncology
Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and nursing staff within the Hematology/Oncology Section
Provide Hematology and Oncology services with quality clinical practice and standards of the Hematology/Oncology Section
Participate in the Hematology/Oncology Call coverage rotation schedule

Qualifications
Requirements and Qualifications
Doctorate in Medicine (M.D. or D.O.)
Graduate from an ACGME accredited Hematology/Oncology Fellowship
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology & Oncology
Unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of PA
Experience practicing medicine in hospital or private practice
Adept at diagnosing problems and creating treatment plans for patients
EPIC experience
Ability to communicate sensitive and/or adverse information
Sound judgment and expert decision-making abilities
Demonstrated excellent patient care experience
