Supply Chain Co-op/Intern



Our Supply Chain Co-op/Intern will help you gain significant exposure to the Supply Chain function and further develop your business acumen, analytical capabilities, strengthen your presentation and communication skills, and expand your knowledge with various systems and programs.



Where will you work:




Tampa Marine Terminal located in 2520 Guy Verger Boulevard. Tampa, FL 33605


Housing and relocation can be provided for qualified candidates.

September 9, 2024 to December 20, 2024


Full time Co-Op/Internship. Hybrid, typically 36-40 hours a week.



What will you do?

• Exposure to the Supply Chain function through supporting projects across the group
  
  


• Work with the team in reviewing business processes and systems and provide recommendations on improvements.
  
  


• Leverage established Supply Chain systems, processes, and tools to focus on effective materials management, inventory management, planning, forecasting, network optimization, and transportation management to continuously improve customer experience.
  
  


• Review MOC (Management of Change) documents and P&IDs
  
  


• RMP and PSM Compliance
  
  


• Asset Criticality
  
  


• Opportunity to work alongside industry mentors, gaining specific Supply Chain knowledge, experience and exposure.
  
  

What do you need for this role?

• Junior level or higher pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management
  
  


• Interest inMaritime or Port terminal Operations.
  
  


• SAP Experience Preferred
  
  


• Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills and proficiency with visualization/reporting tools considered an asset.
  
  


• 2.75 GPA or higher
  
  


• 1-2 years of experience volunteering, working with student/school organizations, or work is required
  
  


• Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred
  
  


• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license - You will need to be able to travel to and from sites and/or office.
  
  


• Basic computer skills are required
  
  


• Experience working in a team environment is a must
  
  


• Familiarity with an industrial environment is highly desirable
  
  


• Effective verbal communication skills is a plus
  
  


• Physical work environment is occasionally outdoors with exposure to varying degrees of hot and cold environments.
