Med-Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (24003943)

A Postdoctoral Associate position in Pain Research is available immediately in the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh.

Qualified candidates with a Ph.D. in neurophysiology, neuroscience, neurobiology, or related fields will join a dynamic team of investigators to study the neurobiology of neural circuits and the pharmacology that controls pain, analgesia, and drug-seeking behaviors.

Knowledge and prior working experiences with mouse surgery, behavior, and in situ molecular biology are preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong aptitude for collaborative research in an academic environment are expected.
