Job Description:

Primary Responsibility:
Execute internal audit projects with direct access to Executive Management and to the Audit Committee.

What You'll Do:


  • Execute internal audit projects with direct access to Executive Management and to the Audit Committee.
  • Complete comprehensive operational audits at the Company's facilities located throughout the United States, with opportunities to participate in audits in international locations (Europe & Asia Pac) as part of a Global team.
  • Review, evaluate, and test internal controls and performance metrics of global company operations and corporate functions.
  • Engage in all stages of financial and operational audits and project support - planning, fieldwork, and "wrap-up," including preparing workpaper documentation and audit reports.
  • Build relationships at all levels of the organization to help facilitate change and assist management with achieving objectives.
  • Assist with the completion of substantive testing in support of the Company's external auditors
  • Assist in the development of solutions to identified business needs; Provide meaningful communications to business owners and executive management.

What Experience and Education You Need :
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 1-3 years of audit experience (internal or external) or other relative business experience.

• Travel up to 60% may be required. This role has a significant travel requirement, as this role will be part of teams that travel to Company locations to perform audits.

• Client service orientation and self-starting demeanor; Ability to work on global teams as well as on individual assignments.

• Demonstrate foundational understanding of accounting and finance processes, Functional knowledge of supply chain processes, 3rd party logistics, or experience auditing controls in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing operations.

• Ability to analyze complex processes and identify potential improvement opportunities; Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication (verbal and written) skills.

• Proficient in using MS Office Suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint.

What Could Set You Apart :
• Professional certification such as CIA or CPA is preferred but not required.
• Preferred experience working in Oracle, SAP and/or Warehouse Management Software (WMS).
• Experience with a public accounting firm is preferred.

Physical Requirements :
• Requires the ability to sit for long periods of time, with frequent interruptions
• Requires several hours per day of sitting, getting up and down from chairs, and reaching, or bending
• Requires manual dexterity with normal hand and finger movements for typical office work
• Talking, hearing, and seeing are important elements of completing assigned tasks
• May require travel by automobile and airplane up for business
• May require a visit to facility operations in temperatures at or below freezing
• May carry loads related to travel and occasionally lifts, carries, positions, or moves objects weighing up to 20 pounds
• Requires the use of various electronic tools
• Requires the ability to relate to others beyond giving and receiving instructions: must partner with colleagues without exhibiting behavioral extremes
• Requires the performance of work activities including reasoning, negotiating, instructing, persuading, or speaking with others; and responding appropriately to constructive feedback from executive management
