BGSF is representing a home builder in San Antonio, Texas seeking to hire VP of Land Acquisition.
Role primarily responsibility for leading and directing the Division's land acquisition and entitlement process. From discovering land to developing new communities, you'll work closely with the Sales, Construction and Finance teams; as well as collaborate with officials from local municipalities, professional consultants, legal counsel and land development contractors.

**MUST be local to San Antonio or Austin (need to confident knowledge of South Texas market)

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent
Minimum 7 to 10 years previous related experience
Strong negotiation and contract skills
Requires knowledge of market trends, pricing and growth & supply
Knowledge of political environment and the ability to form political connections
Ability to strategically implement the company's goals by acquiring the necessary land to meet the strategic objectives
