Job Description:
Seeking a Senior Golang Engineer to join a fast growing stratup that will be working on greenfield applications.
Salary: 140-160K
Onsite in West Loop Area of Chicago
Responsibilities:
- Architect and engineer robust, scalable, and sustainable backend services and APIs utilizing Go.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to conceptualize, design, and implement new features and enhancements.
- Enhance and optimize existing backend infrastructure and codebase to enhance performance and scalability.
- Craft clean, efficient, and thoroughly testable code adhering to industry best practices and coding conventions.
- Facilitate code reviews, offer constructive critique, and provide guidance to junior colleagues.
- Partner closely with the DevOps team to deploy and oversee applications within production environments.
- Diagnose and resolve technical challenges, bugs, and performance constraints.
- Remain abreast of the latest advancements, tools, and methodologies within Go and backend development.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience working with microservices and scaling backend systems using Golang
- Well versed in AWS enviornments
- Experience with containerization using Docker or Kubernetes
