Our client is a boutique Wealth Management firm in Boston, and they are looking to bring a Tax Advisor onboard. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days in office and 2 working at home.
The Tax Advisor takes on a key role in their team, managing
comprehensive preparation of tax returns for high-value individual, fiduciary
and foundation tax clients. This involves handling confidential information and
regular client interactions. It is the Tax Advisor's responsibility to prepare
complex tax returns, review their peers' work for accuracy, and prepare
Foundation 990-PF returns.
They consult with clients on financial and tax strategies and
manage quarterly estimated tax payments for assigned accounts. They collaborate
to identify taxable events with possible legal implications, and work on
department-wide initiatives. The Tax Advisor also identifies tax planning
opportunities by working with other teams within the office, such as General
Counsel and Trust Administration.
Utilizing various software applications for tax processes and
collaborating with our Tax Team, Business Analysts, and Application Developers
allows the Tax Advisor to ensure efficient workflow and the best use of
technology.
