LHH is seeking a Senior Accountant for a client in Sacramento. The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.
Responsibilities
They are seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee finance and accounting functions for projects and programs
This role involves managing budgets, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with contracts and grants
Manage contracts, grants, and fiscal sponsor relationships
Prepare budgets, analysis, and forecasts for projects
Serve as a liaison between Finance and assigned programs
Review staff costing allocations for projects
Conduct revenue recognition and ensure compliance
Assist with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
Support balance sheet and income statement reconciliations
Assist with the annual audit process
Build relationships internally and externally
Contribute to team efforts and other assigned projects
Qualifications
3+ years' of professional accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
CPA preferred
Role will pay between $40hr to $45hr depending on background and skills.
