This is a remote position with 50% travel within their territory to PA, OH, IN, CO and TX. Responsibilities
Manage a team of 8+ Field Inspectors
Act as the face of the company while traveling within their assigned territory
Provide technical guidance, oversee daily activities, control budgets, assist in documentation, provide field sketches, and take calls for proposals
50% management and 50% boots-on-the-ground work
This position requires travel to various customers sites, mostly throughout the Midwest, and at times, in other parts of the country
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or a similar field
Technical background with 2+ years of experience managing a team of 5+ employees
Background in Steel or Industrial Engineering is a plus
Must have a valid drivers license, be able to operate a manlift, and read CAD drawings
