Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and strategic finance leader to serve as the Director of Finance at Lusso Could, Inc. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's financial management, including financial planning, analysis, budgeting, accounting, and reporting. They will work closely with the executive team to develop and execute financial strategies that support our growth objectives, drive profitability, and ensure financial sustainability.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement financial strategies and initiatives to support the company's growth objectives and enhance financial performance.
Lead the financial planning and budgeting process, including forecasting, variance analysis, and cash flow management.
Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Prepare and present financial statements, reports, and analysis to senior management and board of directors, providing insights and recommendations for decision-making.
Monitor and analyze key financial metrics and performance indicators to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and drive continuous improvement.
Establish and maintain strong internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including financial institutions, and regulatory authorities, to ensure transparency and compliance.
Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, and product development, to support cross-functional initiatives and drive operational efficiencies.
Qualifications
or CPA a big plus.
Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably in the branded consumer goods industry.
Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with a track record of driving financial performance and business results.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in ERP systems management and advanced MS Excel skills.
Proficiency with digital commerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon, Target+, J Crew Marketplace etc.) and performance metrics a big plus.
Strategic mindset, with the ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and make data-driven decisions.
