Responsibilities:
Review and prepare income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and other related documents across multiple states.
Oversee the preparation of intricate client work, while assigning basic tasks to junior accountants.
Manage and prioritize the workflow of client projects to meet filing and reporting deadlines.
Supervise engagement teams, staff accountants, and interns, ensuring their responsibilities align with project expectations.
Maintain accountability for meeting engagement timelines and budgetary constraints, and promptly communicate project status updates to partners, managers, and clients.
Requirements:
At least two years of applicable tax experience required.
Preferred experience with taxation of "flow-through" entities, with private equity experience considered advantageous.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is mandatory.
Strong preference for candidates who have passed some or all sections of the CPA exam.
