As the Sr. Sales Finance Analyst you will be provide financial partnership to the Sales and Sales Finance organizations by providing key analytics and insights to drive profitable and sustainable growth. This role will provide you with many opportunities to make a visible impact and contribute to delivering strategic initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner with Sales Leads to leverage the use of the Trade Promotions Management System (MEI), ensuring the accuracy of entries, meeting the program deadlines, and attachment of key documents (contracts, deduction details)
Provide guidance and coaching to support the Account Teams: ad-hoc reports and analyses related to customer-specific volume and trade spend. Provide guidance on updates to the Trade Promotion Management System (MEI). Provide the Sales Team with financial details to determine appropriate suggested retail and trade rate to assist with promotion sell-in to customer.
Lead Trade Management routines inclusive of analysis of Trade Balance (Live Accrual) by Customers and conduct monthly financial reviews with Sales leads to ensure spending within the Plan
Review Strategic Investment Fund requests by valuing the program with Sales and providing oversight on reviewing and aligning the promotion to the approved funding
Partner with Sales Leads to build and review the annual trade calendar and spend forecast, ensuring trade programs are aligned with the Brands' promotional strategy and that the spend profiles match the funding rate.
Lead and own analytical modules within the FP&A Process (Budgets/Forecasts, Variance Analysis, Monthly Deliverables, etc.)
Perform variance analysis on price, trade, and other expenses and provide an analytical assessment of the drivers of the key variances tracked in Monthly KPIs.
Assign deduction processing to the 3rd party Business Partner and routinely conduct audit reviews to ensure that deduction reconciliations are performed properly and accurately.
Collaborate with Accounts Receivable and Sales Teams to manage deduction aging and keep customer deduction aging below the Aging threshold.
Support the monthly closing process by executing assigned tasks and delivering on time
Monitor and improve processes (Sales Finance and other indirect functions) as needed to efficiently and effectively complete assigned tasks
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
2+ years of work experience in finance/accounting, preferably in Consumer Packaged Goods company/industry with excellent business acumen
Previous experience with sales analysis, trade fund management a plus
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and the ability to combine multiple data sets
SAP or other ERP System experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong data management and analytical skills, and critically important to be able to deliver the message to non-finance professionals.
