The CFO will work out of the Lubbock office. The ideal candidate will assist with financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, and compliance. The candidate will possess a strong background in finance and management.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the Accounting Department including day-to-day operations of the corporate accounting functions, development and construction projects.
Oversee 4-5 accountants.
Monitor cash management, forecasting and risk management.
Interface with legal, 3rd party CPA firm, and auditors and lenders.
Establish accounting policies and procedures based on GAAP and operational requirements.
Coordinate training and development of all accounting staff
Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Closes
Liaison to company and property ownership regarding financial related issues.
Support the financial planning and analysis efforts
Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits
Prepare financial statements and reports
Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions
