Our client, a healthcare company in Houston, is seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Finance to lead the financial operations and empower strategic decision-making. You will be a key member of the leadership team, providing insightful analysis and driving financial performance excellence.
In this role, you will:
Steer Financial Strategy: Lead the financial planning and analysis process, crafting budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans to fuel business growth.
Sharpen Financial Acumen: Analyze key metrics and performance indicators to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Ensure Financial Transparency: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, keeping stakeholders informed and confident.
Safeguard Financial Integrity: Implement robust risk mitigation strategies and internal controls to protect company assets.
Collaborate for Success: Partner with department heads to establish financial targets, monitor budget performance, and drive operational excellence.
Champion Strategic Initiatives: Provide financial insights and support for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
Invest in the Future: Evaluate investment opportunities and capital allocation decisions to maximize shareholder value.
Foster a High-Performing Team: Build and lead a talented finance team, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities.

We're looking for a candidate with:
A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior finance role with a proven track record of financial leadership and strategic thinking.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage all levels of the organization.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial management systems.
Solid understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Exceptional interpersonal skills to build strong relationships and influence across the organization.
Bonus points if you have:
Experience in the healthcare industry.
Experience with NetSuite, Bill.com, and Concur platforms.
Experience in multi-site environments.
An MBA and/or CPA certification.
