Lead the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, & Fire protection (MEP) systems and coordination to achieve the project goals

Play a key role in the preconstruction effort through GMP as requested
Requirements Build Work
In conjunction with the project team, this position guides, expedites, and administers the MEP Systems to maintain the budget, and safety while meeting the project schedule and quality requirements
Maintain Client and A/E relationships throughout the project cycle and beyond
Assist in resolution of major project issues with the Project Manager / Superintendent
Assist, support, and be accountable for the Operations Report
Ability to coordinate, interact and/or direct field labor, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and architects
Maintain client objectives, ensure needs are addressed and continued client relations and beyond project completion
Monitor, guide and mentor progress and performance of project team to grow the knowledge base on the function and integration of MEP systems
Establish the project communications methods and protocol
Coordinate and lead project meetings to discuss critical issues and foresee potential exposures, strategies and resolve issues
Verify existing project conditions and build into schedule, logistics and scopes
Develop strategies to incorporate project safety plan into schedule, logistics and scopes
Ability to identify risks and develop strategic plans
Manage the contract document development phase understanding the agreement and develop preliminary construction schedules
Support the project team through scope review meetings
Understand and enforce each trade subcontractor's agreement implementing boiler plate language
Support the Project Manager to include AIA Monthly Requisitions for Owner and Subcontractor, allowances, contingencies, options, cost reports, projections, fees, and expenses
Oversee and develop collectively with the project team the project program for systems startup, testing, AHJ inspections, Commissioning, Training to achieve the Project requirements while incorporating the client's expectations as a best-in-class process that supports their program

Participate in employee annual performance reviews as requested
Committed to teach, guide, and enhance the skillset of the MEP Assistant Project Managers, and MEP Project Engineers, assigned to them
Committed to self-improvement through technical and leadership training
Work collectively with the Preconstruction Managers, Director of Estimating and Director of Purchasing throughout the preconstruction phase
Work collectively with Sr. Vice President of Operations, Sr. Vice President of Construction, Vice President of Preconstruction, and project team to achieve company goals
