8-10 Years' Experience of senior Mainframe Systems Programmer background is required. • Infrastructure Engineer with a hands-on experience • Building robust Mainframe environments • Scripting and process Automation experience Required • Extensive knowledge of Mainframe Systems methodology and frameworks
The position requires advance knowledge of configurating Development and Production environments comprised of the below listed components:
5-10 years of z/OS Systems Programming experience
CICS TS for z/OS
CICS Webservices
MQ for z/OS
DB2 for z/OS
Control-M for z/OS
IBM System Automation for z/OS
REXX Programming
z/OSMF - Working Knowledge of Workflows
Candidate will be supporting various project teams and their mainframe related needs on a day-to-day basis
Candidate will be leveraging their skills to automate configuration processes on the mainframe using above toolset • Extensive knowledge of MQ Series • Extensive SDLC experience with some development or Systems programming experience • Ability to analyze and trouble-shoot Mid-tier/infrastructure issues. • Very strong verbal and written communication skills (Critical) • Ability to facilitate technical requirements gathering and design sessions • Collaborate and interpret business and technical needs • Excellent attention to detail and quality work products (Critical) • Strong customer service skills with internal and external customers (Critical) • Must be able to perform assigned tasks with minimum supervision (Critical) • Strong analytical and documentation skills • Excellent time management ability (Critical)
