We are searching for a Technical Business Analyst for our client based in South Houston. This role is contract to hire and is a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office).
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst proficient in ASP.NET, Visual Basic, and SQL Enterprise technologies to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and business acumen, enabling them to bridge the gap between IT and business stakeholders. You will play a critical role in analyzing business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and collaborating with development teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements.
Analyze and translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments to evaluate proposed solutions.
Develop and maintain documentation including functional specifications, process flows, and system diagrams.
Work closely with development teams to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives and requirements.
Assist in system testing, user acceptance testing, and post-implementation support.
Provide technical guidance and support to business stakeholders as needed.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in ASP.NET, Visual Basic, and SQL Enterprise technologies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role.
Strong understanding of ASP.NET, Visual Basic, and SQL Enterprise technologies.
Proficiency in SQL querying and database design.
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMP) are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is advantageous.
Understanding of data analytics and reporting tools.
Previous experience in the finance or healthcare industry is desirable.
