As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will play a vital role at Nuvitek. You be working closely with an equally enthusiastic team of developers and engineers in an Agile environment to modernize our customer's application using low-code solutions and enhance the Salesforce platform for our organization. As part of the process, you will be learning from peers/ seniors and will be mentoring juniors in your tenure with Nuvitek.
In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting Nuvitek's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities: • Help to envision, design, and implement new features utilizing the Salesforce low-code platform for the projects based upon the prioritized product backlog • Bring innovating, out-of-the-box thinking to solving challenging problems, brainstorming with peers, and utilizing available resources including internal as well as external resources • Work with functional and testing team to understand the business functionality, to ensure what is developed meets or exceeds the end-user needs and adhere to Salesforce best practices and maintain code documentation. • Unit test all developed features, including edge cases. Also be comfortable to conduct peer review of other developer's code as needed • Attend and actively participate in all Agile-related meetings. Work within the Agile framework including participating in User Story grooming sessions, Sprint Planning meeting, and retrospectives • Delivery presentations as required to the client during Sprint demos as well coordinating meetings with intersecting teams as required. • Participate in implementation architectures for digital solutions, frameworks, and accelerators • Participate in knowledge sharing sessions within the company to socialize best practices and draft white papers as applicable • Help with building proof of concept, creating technical solutions for internal application as needed. • Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the organization.
Required Qualifications, Work Experience, and Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Bachelors or other IT related degree • Applicants MUST be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain US Government's Public Trust security clearance • At least 4+ years of professional experience with the Salesforce eco-system performing project implementations that exploit the full capabilities (discover, design, implement and optimize) of the Salesforce platform while delivering in an Agile framework. • A solid understanding of IT delivery methodology and leading teams in the implementation of the solution according to the design/architecture. • Fairly good understanding of data concepts (SQL, Databases) and business workflows • Strong verbal and writing skills, including the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate at all levels with technical as well as business resources • Must have proven knowledge and practical application of Visualforce, APEX programming, Force.com APIs, and Web Services • Salesforce Developer certification(s)
