Are you an experienced storage guru looking to take charge of a global storage environment? We're seeking a Senior Storage Administrator to join our team and oversee our diverse storage infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead design, implementation, and security compliance efforts for SAN and NAS storage systems
Optimize storage infrastructure for availability, performance, and disaster recovery
Ensure data accessibility adheres to security standards and industry best practices
Manage patching and provisioning procedures for storage systems
Troubleshoot and manage NFS exports, CIFS Shares, and connectivity protocols
Identify automation opportunities and implement scripting solutions
Proactively monitor and troubleshoot hardware and performance issues
Collaborate with vendors to resolve complex challenges
Establish and maintain operational standards and documentation
Participate in change control processes and On-Call rotation support
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in supporting large-scale NetApp environments
Expertise in SAN and NAS storage technologies including NetApp FAS, AFF, Cisco MDS, Synology, and IBM FS5100
Preferred certification in NetApp Storage Administration
Advanced knowledge of operating systems (AIX, Linux, Windows, VMware)
Familiarity with application/database integration with storage systems
Strong networking skills related to server environments and virtualization
Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members
