RedStream Technology is recruiting a Product Manager to work with our client, a leader in the entertainment industry. The product suites include public facing applications across a number of platforms including web and mobile.
We are looking for someone with a strong technical background who can work with internal stakeholders, development teams, and external business partners to provide, configure, and integrate the technical platforms with cloud-based architecture that support front end digital products.
Primary Responsibilities
Own platform products end-to-end, driving product discussions (e.g. vision, goals, tenets, roadmap) across teams. Develop a product vision, growth strategy and OKRs.
Define product strategy and help prioritize the roadmap for the client's platform services and overall platform.
Oversee a custom identity form solution which requires a deep understanding of the supporting technical architecture, working with key stakeholders at the client and their 3rd party hosting partners.
Lead and perform daily product management activities including writing product specs and requirements, as well as crafting high level technical and user experience flows.
Partner with consumer experience product team to understand business and user needs and align platform delivery milestones and dependencies.
Effectively support the product design, engineering and QA teams throughout sprint cycles by proactively removing roadblocks and prioritizing work items based on established outcomes and business objectives.
Build and manage relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders, including product owners, product marketing, content, operations, sales, commerce, external vendors and executives.
Review frequent application builds to ensure on-time delivery and overall product quality.
Working knowledge of developing QA test plans and strategies for data/analytics.
Attention to detail paired with a passion for delivering the best user experience possible.
Required Skills/Knowledge
5+ years in digital product development for core platform and internal tooling with a proven track record of successful launches
Experienced communicating to senior-level executives (written and in-person); able to adapt communication style across audiences and stakeholder groups.
Self-starter who is energetic & enthusiastic, confident, adaptable & customer-oriented
Experience producing wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user interaction diagrams
Experience with Agile methodologies such as scrum or Kanban.
Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a cross-functional team while remaining detail-oriented.
Technical competence and ability to adapt to new technologies and lead teams through technology changes.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Educational Background Required: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field.
Nice to have's:
Experience working with emerging technologies, video streaming, subscription systems, and platform integrations.
Knowledge of release and regression testing methodologies.
Agile/Scrum experience and familiarity with JIRA and Confluence or similar tool sets.
Experience with Identity platforms.
Knowledge and some working experience with Azure, AWS, and Google cloud products.
Relevant experience within the sports media/streaming media industry
Experience with any of the following platforms is extremely beneficial: Identity, Payment, Entitlement
Strong business acumen and enthusiasm for digital data implementation
