What to expect in this role
As the Data Analytics Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making and optimizing business performance. You will be responsible for leading a team of analysts, developing analytics strategies, and delivering actionable insights to various stakeholders across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytics, a passion for problem-solving, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
Lead and mentor a team of analysts, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and identify opportunities for leveraging data analytics.
Develop and implement analytics strategies to optimize business performance, improve processes, and drive growth.
Design and execute data analyses, utilizing statistical methods, machine learning techniques, and predictive modeling to extract actionable insights.
Oversee the development of dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability by establishing data governance frameworks and best practices.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in analytics technologies, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance our analytics capabilities.
Cultivate a data-driven culture within the organization by promoting the value of analytics and fostering collaboration across departments.
Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to optimize data infrastructure and ensure data accessibility and scalability.
Act as a subject matter expert on analytics-related topics, providing guidance and thought leadership to senior management and other stakeholders.
Qualifications and Tech Proficiency
Bachelor's or master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
Proven experience (5+ years) in data analytics, with a track record of leading analytics projects and teams.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and/or others.
Strong understanding of statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization techniques.
Experience with data manipulation, cleansing, and preprocessing techniques to prepare data for analysis.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve goals and deliver results.
Strategic mindset with the ability to think analytically and identify opportunities for business improvement.
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing business challenges.
