What to expect in this role

As the Data Analytics Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making and optimizing business performance. You will be responsible for leading a team of analysts, developing analytics strategies, and delivering actionable insights to various stakeholders across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytics, a passion for problem-solving, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.

  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and identify opportunities for leveraging data analytics.
  • Develop and implement analytics strategies to optimize business performance, improve processes, and drive growth.
  • Design and execute data analyses, utilizing statistical methods, machine learning techniques, and predictive modeling to extract actionable insights.
  • Oversee the development of dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability by establishing data governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in analytics technologies, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance our analytics capabilities.
  • Cultivate a data-driven culture within the organization by promoting the value of analytics and fostering collaboration across departments.
  • Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to optimize data infrastructure and ensure data accessibility and scalability.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on analytics-related topics, providing guidance and thought leadership to senior management and other stakeholders.

Qualifications and Tech Proficiency

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in data analytics, with a track record of leading analytics projects and teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and/or others.
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization techniques.
  • Experience with data manipulation, cleansing, and preprocessing techniques to prepare data for analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve goals and deliver results.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think analytically and identify opportunities for business improvement.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing business challenges.
