One of our automotive clients is looking for an OBD Engineer who will be responsible for delivering, validating, and maintaining on-board diagnostic (OBD) solutions for powertrain technologies needed to meet diagnostic regulatory requirements.
Additional responsibilities in this role include:
Develop and deliver reliability and Robustness Documentation (DFMEA, P-Diagrams, Boundary Diagrams, Calibration Guidelines, Diagnostics Operations Summary, and Fault Demonstration Methods)
Perform diagnostic routines, report findings and give recommendations to improve system reliability and durability
Perform HIL/SIL, on-road, emissions, and dynamometer data collection to validate and calibrate diagnostic monitoring capability of new powertrain technologies
Identify and aid in resolving OBD issues with internal and external stakeholders
Author scripts using MatLab, Python, or other scripting languages to analyze system/diagnostic behavior and support the calibration process
