Position Overview:

The Director of Contracting will be instrumental in managing federal contract submissions and fostering private partnerships. This role requires a deep understanding of federal contracting regulations, an aptitude for private partnership dynamics, and exceptional coordination skills to ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Federal Contract Management:

  • Identify and evaluate federal contract opportunities aligned with the company's offerings.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of federal contract proposals, ensuring full compliance with regulations and requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define contract specifications, pricing, and deliverables.
  • Monitor and manage contract performance to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.

Private Partnership Cooperation:

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with potential and existing private sector partners.
  • Work with partners to define cooperation terms that align with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth progression of partnership projects.

Coordination & Reporting:

  • Serve as the liaison between internal teams, federal agencies, and private partners to ensure clear communication and alignment of expectations.
  • Prepare regular reports detailing the status, challenges, and achievements of contracts and partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, law, military experience, or a related field.
  • Military experience is strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal contract management and/or private partnership roles.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal contracting processes, regulations, and requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and project management expertise.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-departmental teams and external partners.
