Position Overview:
The Director of Contracting will be instrumental in managing federal contract submissions and fostering private partnerships. This role requires a deep understanding of federal contracting regulations, an aptitude for private partnership dynamics, and exceptional coordination skills to ensure seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Federal Contract Management:
Identify and evaluate federal contract opportunities aligned with the company's offerings.
Lead the preparation and submission of federal contract proposals, ensuring full compliance with regulations and requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams to define contract specifications, pricing, and deliverables.
Monitor and manage contract performance to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
Private Partnership Cooperation:
Establish and nurture strong relationships with potential and existing private sector partners.
Work with partners to define cooperation terms that align with the company's strategic objectives.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth progression of partnership projects.
Coordination & Reporting:
Serve as the liaison between internal teams, federal agencies, and private partners to ensure clear communication and alignment of expectations.
Prepare regular reports detailing the status, challenges, and achievements of contracts and partnerships.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, law, military experience, or a related field.
Military experience is strongly preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal contract management and/or private partnership roles.
Comprehensive knowledge of federal contracting processes, regulations, and requirements.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and project management expertise.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-departmental teams and external partners.
