Role Overview: As a Mainframe Application Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in understanding, documenting, and optimizing business processes, particularly focusing on integration points with EDI Hubs interacting with our SOLMIS mainframe EDI application. Key Responsibilities:
Understand, document, and communicate business processes, particularly focusing on integration points with EDI Hubs and SOLMIS.
Act as a single point of contact for all support and enhancement requests related to SOLMIS within the team.
Lead planning and end-to-end delivery of enhancements and support issues within an AGILE team framework.
Technical Skills Required:
Minimum 5 years of experience in development, design, and analysis of mainframe applications, encompassing both IMS Online and Batch.
Proficiency (5+ years) with IBM Mainframe technologies including MVS, COBOL, JCL, IMS DB/DC, VSAM, TSO/ISPF, SPUFI, QMF, ENDEVOR, FILE-AID, XPEDITER, IBM Debugger, Quality Center, FTP Batch, CLIST, REXX, Abend-Aid, QMF, Syncsort, CA7, DB2, SQL, VSAM, IMS, Endevor, Mercury Quality Center, and MQ Series.
Minimum 2 years of experience with supply chain processes, including EDI transactions (e.g., releases, ASNs).
Minimum 2 years of experience with communication protocols such as MQ, SFTP, and FTPS.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Soft Skills Desired:
Self-learner with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Strong analytical skills.
Experience in engaging with global customers.
