Candidates can be from any metro-area with an expectation of being in close proximity to an international airport as this position requires 75% travel. Our HQ is located in Mequon, WI and some travel to this location will also be required.

Eagle Eye Services is a division of Eagle Eye Power Solutions, a growing local business in the niche backup power industry, and we are looking to find a trustworthy and skilled industry professional to oversee, support, and complete all stationary application projects nationwide.

The Stationary Battery Field Supervisor will demonstrate strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to develop and maintain customer relationships in emerging markets such as UPS, Telecommunications and Utility Customers.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

General Responsibilities:
  • Install & replace battery systems, related accessories, and hardware.
  • Install & replace power electronics equipment & hardware, including wiring and connections.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and testing on battery and charging systems in UPS, Utility, and Telecommunication settings.
  • Analyze job specifications, drawings, and documentation.
  • Modify circuits including hot-cuts, and h-taps.
  • Complete power transition work.
  • Add or remove circuits on a working power distribution source.
  • Turn-up, test, and program equipment.
  • Install temporary power plants & batteries on energized systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Project Support:
  • Provide comprehensive support for all stationary application projects.
  • Supervise large, medium, and small-scale stationary projects to ensure successful execution.
  • Adhere to applicable customer, industry, and manufacturer's maintenance & installation methods and standards.
  • Mark and correct customer drawings.

Travel:
  • Willingly travel up to 75% of the time to oversee projects and support teams across the entire US.
  • Overnight travel is required.

Training and Development:
  • Assist in developing and training technicians.
  • Continually train and develop personal skills to advance responsibilities.

Team Building:
  • Ability to give direction and lead teams.
  • Develop and lead teams that collaborate seamlessly with the battery monitoring service group.
  • Foster a culture of safety practices within the teams.

Customer Relationship Management:
  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with customers in new markets, specifically in the UPS and Telecommunication sectors.

Sales Support:
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to contribute to the development of growing markets.
  • Provide valuable insights and support for sales initiatives.

Third-Party Collaboration:
  • Work closely with 3rd party service partners to ensure effective collaboration and project execution.

Qualifications:
  • 7+ years' experience in stationary battery applications, with a focus on large-scale projects.
  • Knowledge of UPS and Telecommunication markets is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours and days as needed.
  • Strong understanding of NERC and IEEE requirements in DC applications.

  • Proficient in MS Office products- Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Be a team player and wear many hats.
  • Ability to lift up-to 150 lbs. frequently.
  • Proper operation of basic tools, electrical testing equipment, and material handing equipment.
  • Can take direction, communication, and supervision from Service Manager & Project Manager.
