Job Description:

ASMPT is a leading global supplier of hardware and software solutions for the manufacture of semiconductors and electronics. In this highly visible HR role, the incumbent will serve as an ASMPT Business Partner to AEI, SEMI USA (colloquially APAP) and NEXX business units and will provide HR support and guidance in alignment with business objectives and ASMPT HR strategy and WIGS.

This role requires a combination of relationship-building skills and a deep understanding of HR Information Systems and HR best practices and recordkeeping, along with excellent communication and people skills.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with HR leadership and team members to develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational goals and objectives.
  • Ensure impeccable people recordkeeping.
  • Work with the business and with immigration professionals to ensure timely mobility on international employee transfers to the US and manage domestic mobility.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for employee relations issues for assigned businesses.
  • Partner with managers of assigned businesses to establish performance standards and provide coaching and feedback.
  • Assist with compensation and benefits programs that are competitive and aligned with organization objectives and support retention of employees.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, morale, overall satisfaction and to address feedback from the Employee Engagement survey.
  • Support organizational change initiatives by providing expertise in change management principles and practices.
  • Utilize HR metrics and data analysis to identify trends, measure HR program effectiveness and informed decision-making and participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned to HR leadership.
  • Implement processes to ensure compliance with labor laws and coherent audit trails.
  • Foster cohesiveness and team spirit for a win/win in the HR team, with the five business units and with all the employees.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or demonstrated successful progression in working in the HR field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in HR
  • Strong technical, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal, organizational, written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong HRIS skills and knowledge, preferably with Workday and ADP.
  • Must have strong Excel and PowerPoint skills and experience.
