Job Description:

Salary/Position Classification

• $14.00 Hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)


• 10-20 hours per week


• 100% Remote Work Availability: No


• Hybrid Work Availability: No

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

• Monitor & maintain security in all environments in support of development, testing, and production within UND systems.


• Assist in reviewing and remediating detected threats and vulnerabilities in UND systems.


• Collaborate with other teams to improve efficiency in the security process. This position reports to the Assistant Director for Cloud & Cybersecurity and works with other Cybersecurity team members in person at the EERC.

• College-level coursework in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or 2 years of Cybersecurity experience, or equivalent work experience


• The ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals.

• Undergraduate level student


• Majoring in Cybersecurity/Computer Science/Information Systems program.


• Accepted federal work study award for the academic year.


• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

• Practical experience in a technology and/or security environment.


• Experience with Cybersecurity compliance, frameworks, or standards.
