The ideal candidate will demonstrate a history of advancing within accounting and finance roles, including previous experience managing accounting professionals as a people leader.
This is a fully onsite role, with the potential to shift into a hybrid schedule in the future.
What You Will Be Doing
Report directly to the CFO as the day-to-day leader of accounting and finance
Manage a team of accounting and finance professionals
Oversee all financial controls, processes, and systems cross-functionally
Support annual budgeting and forecasting, providing relevant recommendations and analytics
Manage all weekly, monthly, and annual cash-flow forecasts, AR/AP, taxing, external financial audits, compliance, and beyond
What We Need From You
To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following experience and skills:
10+ years of direct accounting experience; including 2+ years in a management/leadership role
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar focus
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Demonstrated experience with paperless/automated accounting through software packages
All-Star Skillset
The ideal candidate will also have any or all of the following preferred experience and skills:
CPA, Master's Degree, and/or MBA
Previous experience with Accounting NetSuite
Background supporting automotive and/or manufacturing industry
