The Quality Control Supervisor will be responsible for communicating with internal and external customers regarding shipping and QC questions/practices.
Key Activities
Directs and leads in inspecting outgoing products to ensure quality standards are met in the production area.
Helps establish and define quality standards to ensure the quality of products.
Monitors, documents, and corrects any quality issues.
Ensures compliance according to Food Safety certification and QC standards.
Ensures that QC standards are achieved.
Plans the maintenance of all QC equipment.
Trains teammates within this department to ensure that they are complying will all standards.
Investigate inventory problems as needed
Coordinate and execute emergency customer and department orders.
Balances department workload
Drive continuous improvement within the department.
Plan, develop, or implement warehouse safety and security programs and activities.
Working on multiple, simultaneous projects, which require you to be able to manage time flexibly and interact with a variety of people.
Adheres to all company's policies and procedures.
Preferred Skills
Fluency: Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred
Educations & Experience
High School Diploma preferred
1 Yr. experience in quality control or similar role, 1 yr. experience of supervisory preferred & shipping.
