What the job involves
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Front-end Developer/Platform Engineer to enhance our client-facing platform for project management and visualization. At Looq, you will be alongside an incredibly talented multi-disciplinary team working on innovative technology. You will report to the VP of Product and interface directly with designers and technology leads.
Expectations
Design and implement features for our user-facing web platform, enabling clients to manage projects and handle extensive 3D data efficiently.
Be part of an incredibly fast-paced and customer centric team that celebrates execution & quality product
Assist in the development of software specifications, including system architecture and timelines
High degrees of ownership, operational trust, and self-driven development style
Work with customers and customer success engineers to understand pain points then design & build solutions
Qualifications
3+ years of professional experience in software development (full stack)
A BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field
Mastery of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS (but we're all about any tools that make life easier)
Experience with system design & domain modeling
You've been through the full end-to-end web platform lifecycle
Excellent attention to the product and customers at large
Experience building in production environments (alerting, reporting, metrics)
You're interested in or know the world of 3D scanning and digital twins (laser scanning, photogrammetry, meshes & point clouds, CAD, etc.)
