Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Salary range: $50,000 - $65,000

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced, detail-oriented accounts payable specialist. This role is on our Loan Staff team. The incumbent will collaborate with organizations accounts payable teams to help with efficiency's.

Responsibilities:

1. Review and verify invoices and check requests.
2. Set invoices up for payment.
3. Enter and upload invoices into our large ERP system.
4. Carry out 3-way match verification for received inventory and submitted purchase orders and invoices.
5. Track expenses and process expense reports.
6. Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
7. Prepare and perform check runs.
8. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date.
9. Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
10. Liaise with the procurement and logistics departments for prompt processing of supplier invoices.
11. Maintain vendor files, verifying federal id numbers, and responding to vendor inquiries.
12. Perform monthly reconciliations.
13. Prepare analysis of accounts and produce monthly reports.
14. Process monthly credit card statements.
15. Provide supporting documentation for audits.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Proven working experience as an accounts payable officer.
3. Knowledge of general accounting procedures and relevant computer software.
4. Proficiency in the use of large Enterprise Resource Planning systems.
5. Proficient in data entry and management.
6. Familiarity with 3-way match - invoice, PO, and receiving report.
7. Ability to handle high invoice volumes.
8. Strong organizational and planning skills.
9. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
