Raleigh, NC based homebuilder, Robuck Homes Triangle, LLC, is seeking a full-time initiative-driven / self-motivated Senior Accountant to join our team. This person would be responsible for handling and executing the day-to-day and monthly accounting, including accounts payable. In addition, this person would assist in financing activities and both internal / external report preparation. This position interacts with management, banks, and staff at all levels both inside and outside the Company.
Main duties include: • Procure and maintain all construction financing • Order and renew lot and construction appraisals • Montor lines of credit and covenants testing • Manage / own accounts payable process • Job cost reporting • Own month-end and year-end full cycle accounting • Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger • Prepares financial statements and reports including the profit and loss statement and balance sheet • Prepare and report cash flow projections • Assist with tax return and audit preparation • Assist with budget creation and oversight • Work closely with the Company's Controller and Owner in the operation and reporting of Company financial performance
Other duties include: • Assist in processing of employee expense claims • Set up new vendors and jobs in system • Monitor AP / AR accounts • Reconcile homeowner deposit and trust account • Maintain and enforce business policies and procedures • Assist management with budget oversight, financial and cash-flow planning
Ideal Candidate: • Minimum two-year degree in Accounting • 3 - 5 year of accounting experience preferred • Strong accounting skills required • Excellent communication and proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel • Highly organized and detail-oriented • Enjoy multi-tasking and working in a team-oriented environment • Must be reliable and dedicated to the entire company • Ability to translate work output and problem-solving solutions to Ownership and Third Parties • Construction and / or Job Cost Accounting experience is not required but would be a plus and preferred • Experience with Sage 300 a plus, but not required
