The Senior Sales Analyst (Analytical Sales) is responsible of encompassing account management & analytical functions providing sales representation and account management to our key accounts and e- commerce retailers, developing, building and enhancing relationship with our retail partners. This role develops strategies to meet/exceed target KPI's for both sales and margin, provides analytical support across Sales, Operations & Category teams to assist key decision making and success measurement of the business relative to sales
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Achieve assigned sales goals for new and existing products, strategic volume and promotional planning, and execution of sales/marketing initiatives
Weekly reporting/tracking/analysis using online sales data and customer POS data: Sales, Inventory, Promotions, New Items, traffic, conversion, basket, spending on traffic, etc.
Act as the key point person with all internal departments for all assigned accounts to include product development, marketing, manufacturing, order entry, shipping, accounting, etc.
Create and implement strategies to improve sales and profits, while acting as expert adviser to Buyers
Assist in long-term account strategies, including analysis of product, pricing, and consumer trends
Maintain an effective knowledge of external market factors including competitive information in order to make educated account decisions and product recommendations.
Understand all items that Kids II actively sells while also maintaining a clear understanding of new items in development.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
2-5 year experience in sales, sales analytics or sales enablement capacities in the retail or CPG industry
Experience with large retailers is a must; Amazon, Target or Walmart experience is preferred
Experience and demonstrated ability to analyze data and make appropriate recommendations
Must be able to provide recommendations from the data not simply run reports
EDUCATION & SKILLS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Must possess strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. Experience with Power BI is preferred.
Must be comfortable with making presentations to senior leaders and key customers
