Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Power BI Developer with a strong background in UI development to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating insightful and visually compelling data visualizations using Power BI, while also contributing to the development of user interfaces for our internal tools and applications. As our organization transitions away from Power BI towards alternative solutions, your expertise in UI development will be invaluable in ensuring a seamless transition and maintaining a high standard of user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop interactive and intuitive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable insights and data visualizations.
Optimize data models and queries for performance and scalability.
Create custom visuals and extensions to enhance the functionality of Power BI reports.
Implement security measures to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of data within Power BI.
Provide technical support and training to end-users on Power BI usage and best practices.
Stay updated on the latest features and updates in Power BI and incorporate them into our reporting solutions.
Work closely with the development team to integrate Power BI reports into our applications and workflows.
Develop user interfaces for internal tools and applications using modern frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Collaborate with designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.
Ensure that UI designs are responsive, accessible, and compatible with a wide range of devices and browsers.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging activities to maintain high-quality standards for our applications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or Business Intelligence Developer.
Strong proficiency in Power BI, including experience with data modeling, DAX, and M language.
Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
Experience with UI development using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Proficiency in at least one modern frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
