CardWorks Servicing ("CWS") is one of the largest privately-held provider of outsourcing services for bankcard-related products to banks and non-bank lenders in North America. Position Summary:
Responsible for delivery of quality, secure code along with analysis, testing, support, basic documentation and troubleshooting as required. Compliance with development and operational Policies and procedures in support of PCI Audit requirements.
Essential Functions:
Develop application with background/training in front end development of web platforms, understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Security.
Ability to learn and understand Business Processes, technical design direction and basic technical tasks. Attitude and aptitude are critical traits required.
Ability to work with development team members to deliver assigned work tasks and coordinate delivery of components to achieve fully operational platforms and functions.
Ability to manage multiple short term and long term development tasks in parallel within assigned timeframes and deadlines required by Supervisor/Manger in support of Client needs.
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues, problems and evaluate alternatives.
Assist junior developers on technical issues and resolutions.
Education and Experience:
2 to 4-year college or equivalent experience.
2+ year experience in business application development
Summary of Qualifications:
Working knowledge of object-oriented program concept and design patterns.
Experiences in C# and .net framework or .net core.
Knowledge and experiences in SQL.
Working knowledge with HTML and CSS.
Ability to effectively communicate with others and to assimilate and understand information, in a manner consistent with essential job functions
Strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task is essential
Ability to work under pressure; follow implementation plans to stringent timeframes
Flexibility and willingness to work at a rapid pace without every detail documented and locked down.
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
Ability to compose simple to complex communications, written or verbal
Ability to manage multiple development tasks as part of a team, contributing system components to be integrated into a complete product or solution
Ability to interface with staff and at times Clients in a professional and understandable manner
Ability to learn business and technical processes to support business needs.
Ability to create accurate and understandable documentation, specifications and user Requirements for basic functions and processes.
