Lead a team of skilled engineers and technicians, leveraging technical expertise to optimize equipment reliability, streamline processes, and propel the company's manufacturing capabilities to new heights.
Job Duties:
Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
Serve as a technical authority, providing guidance on engineering, maintenance, equipment processes, and production.
Engineer and implement robust controls, strategies, and solutions to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiencies.
Spearhead reliability initiatives, including root cause analysis, breakdown analysis, and MTBF analysis.
Develop and deploy predictive maintenance and situational awareness technologies.
Collaborate with the Maintenance team to optimize preventative maintenance programs.
Lead the planning and execution of capital projects, working closely with engineers and project managers.
Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the entire facility.
Reverse engineer and source critical components in collaboration with plant vendors.
Provide technical support and guidance as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (mechanical, chemical, or manufacturing) or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant engineering and manufacturing experience.
Proven leadership skills and a commitment to fostering a culture of technical development and teamwork.
Demonstrated project management expertise, including scoping, budgeting, planning, design, build, and integration.
Proficiency in using tools, strategies, and data to solve complex technical issues.
Hands-on experience with automated equipment (PLCs, instrumentation, actuators, valves, pumps, motors, and mechanisms).
Ability to read, interpret, and update engineering schematics (mechanical, P&ID, and electrical).
Experience with CMMS software and PLC programming (preferred).
