This Senior Software Engineer will focus on building scalable web applications and developing new features for this online community management company. Focusing on their B2B community management products you will be part of a small team whose work reaches millions of users.
A key requirement is working on websites/applications that function at scale, i.e. millions of users. This is a full stack position with a little leaning towards the backend (60:40), and requires solid experience with TypeScript, Node.js and React. If you have worked with Nest.js this would be very helpful.
The team is small and as such they need someone who is very hands on, has evidence of shipping software and is interested in working with the latest technology such as AI and LLMs.
Key experience required:
4+ years' experience developing large-scale applications with high user numbers
Expert with Typescript and React
Experience with Nest.js
Knowledge of distributed systems and microservice architecture
Good knowledge of modern AI tools
This is an on-site role in the Los Angeles area (Culver City/Playa Vista).
