Job Summary

Lead Surge LLC is a small, but mighty advertising agency specializing in B2C direct response lead generation. As a Direct Response Ad Agency that specializes in home improvement, we track the response for every single ad that we run; every TV, radio, digital, newspaper and online ad unit needs to generate a certain number of leads for the ad to be cost-effective.Naturally, because results are at the core of our business, we've got lots of data on hand! We are seeking an Director, Data Analytics to take that data and run with it, empowering us to serve our clients with intelligent strategy fueled by agile and impactful analytics.

This position supports the VP, Operations and comes with a high degree of responsibility and autonomy. In this role, the Analytics Director will lead data-driven decision-making, provide strategic guidance to our ever-evolving and always-optimizing clients, and oversee the implementation of marketing analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will be solution-oriented and possess both breadth and depth of knowledge across traditional and digital advertising channels. They are experienced in data-driven marketing analysis that supports insights, optimization, and measurement of data. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to take our wealth of data and maximize its potential output and usefulness to internal stakeholders and our clients.

In this role, you will have the following responsibilities and duties:
  • Provide solutions and points of view on how to solve or answer analytical and measurement challenges, including measurement plans, outlining project objectives, tools, data sources, and reporting frequency.
  • Serve as the point person for training, implementation, adoption, and constant improvement of our Tableau dashboards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Creative, Media, and Media Ops) to define measurable goals and objectives.
  • Work with our external development team to ensure that our custom FileMaker database is built to support the influx and analysis of new data structures.
  • Manage a two-person remote team of Campaign Analysts to ensure consistent strategy is implemented, marrying client needs with the agency's creative output.
  • Ability to tell a concise and impactful narrative of your findings. Display data visually, creating compelling presentations which demonstrate the value of analytic deliverables to client and staff.
  • Be a subject matter expert with respect to key measurement and data platforms; make thoughtful recommendations for new analytics technology according to our business needs.
  • Define KPIs, measurement and optimization strategies for both existing media and new channels as the agency expands into different avenues.
  • Juggle multiple projects (including ad hoc asks) and prioritize time while working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and growing organization.

What you bring to the table:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in marketing, measurement, data analysis, and optimization across media channels.
  • Ability to flex between getting your hands dirty with the data and leading broad strategy decisions from a 30,000-foot view.
  • Creative thinker that is willing to challenge the norm to improve analytic processes.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.You should eat VLOOKUPs for breakfast.
  • Experience with BI platforms such as Tableau is required.
  • Ability to work in a Mac environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in applicable field desired or relevant equivalent work experience.

The Lead Surge office is based in Canton, MA. Remote, East Coast based applicants will be considered in lieu of hybrid.
