Job Description:

Job Title: Assistant Retail Store Manager
Department: Retail
Reports To: Retail Store Manager
Summary:
The Assistant Retail Store Manager is responsible for assisting the Retail Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the dispensary. This includes managing the sales floor, managing inventory, and providing customer service. The Assistant Retail Store Manager also plays a key role in training and developing new employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage the sales floor and ensure that customers receive a high level of service.
Manage inventory and ensure that product levels are always sufficient to meet demand.
Train and develop new employees.
Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees.
Resolve customer complaints.
Complete administrative tasks as needed.
Comply with all state and local regulations related to cannabis retail.
Behave in a manner that is positive, productive, cooperative and encourages teamwork.
Follows safety guidelines and regulations; champions safety culture.
Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of experience in retail management.
Strong customer service skills.
Knowledge of cannabis products and regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
